The Northeast Homeland Security Regional Advisory Council (NERAC) is sponsoring four Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) courses to prepare law enforcement officers to isolate, distract, and neutralize an active shooter using a number of tactics and techniques through both classroom and field-based activities, including dynamic force-on-force scenarios.

The courses will take place from August 7th-August 17th in Carlisle and Gloucester.

The second course will take place in Marblehead on April 20th and 21st. NERAC and NEMLEC are pleased to announce an event on March 17th to introduce the 2nd Edition of the NEMLEC STARS Toolkit! Event Overview: The School Threat Assessment and Response System (STARS) Toolkit is a resource designed to assist school districts and their communities with all-hazards crisis planning and preparedness.
